All of us at The Intersection are united in supporting the movement toward anti-racist health systems, even when times feel very tough.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts continue to face political pushback, legal pressure, shrinking budgets, and changing priorities. But leaders in advocacy and healthcare are navigating this challenging environment and staying motivated, generating ideas, and delivering results that move equity forward.
Leaders shared inspiration, discuss lessons learned, and explain how they are building stronger communities and organizations. The conversation explored:
- The state of DEI at the close of 2025
- Centering health equity in tough times
- Signs of hope and progress
- Inspirational actions to take
Convened by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, The Intersection brings together people who work inside and outside of healthcare to build anti-racist health systems. It’s a place where community and justice advocates, healthcare providers, and public health experts can share their experiences, provide feedback on how to tackle challenges, and talk about what’s working.
